How and in what way are numbers also "motor"?
My project investigates the relationship between numerical abilities, such as arithmetic, and sensorimotor skills, like grasping, and how this interaction changes with age, with a special focus on older adults. I use a neuroimaging technique, fNIRS, to capture the neural correlates underlying these processes!
I am also passionate about synesthesia and clinical neuropsychology.
