Research interests

In my previous research endeavours, I extensively explored the domains of Emotion Regulation, the ramifications of Covid-19 on overall health, and Stress, particularly perceived Stress and its effects on attention and inhibition.

Since November 2023, upon joining the esteemed University of Padua, my primary research focus has shifted towards the realms of vision, visual processing speed, Hemianopia, attention, and cognition. Additionally, I possess a partial inclination towards investigating Working Memory (WM) and its intricate correlation with engagement levels.

To facilitate my investigations, I am keenly interested in leveraging advanced imaging techniques such as EEG (Electroencephalography) and Eye-tracking while concurrently scrutinizing the outcomes of psychophysical training on Visual Processing Speed (VPS) in patients afflicted with Hemianopia. Furthermore, I intend to employ the power of Machine Learning (ML) to analyze the amassed data effectively.
