My current research is broadly related to how work environments impact on the psychological well-being of individuals. More specifically, my focus is to explore how interaction with advanced technologies, such as collaborative robots used in industry, can affect the psychophysical state of workers. Along these lines, I investigate different human factors essential to delineate effective human-robot collaboration primarily aimed at improving work environments from a mental health perspective through the reduction of stress, cognitive load and fatigue.
