Research interests

  • Psychophysiology
  • Human-robot interaction
  • Social cognition
  • Hybrid team dynamics
  • Work-related stress and workplace wellness

My research broadly focuses on how work environments influence the psychological well-being of individuals, with particular emphasis on the interaction between workers and advanced technologies, such as collaborative robots (cobots) used in industrial settings. I explore how these interactions shape the psychophysical state of workers, aiming to improve workplace conditions by reducing stress, cognitive load, and fatigue.

Central to my work is the study of human factors that define effective human-robot collaboration. Currently, I am investigating the motor dynamics of teamwork, examining how robotic movements affect coordination in hybrid human-robot teams. Additionally, I explore the socio-affective dimensions of collaboration, such as building trust, fostering empathy, and enhancing team cohesion, with the ultimate goal of promoting more harmonious and efficient human-robot partnerships.
